My Style:
My approach to Photography can best be described as relaxed and casual. My style is more candid and less posed, and focuses on capturing the true essence of who you are. I try to put my clients at ease and build a relationship with each person before I even get the camera out. While I usually have an idea of how your photo session will evolve, I will always let my clients lead the direction of our shoot to keep them engaged and keep the entire experience fun for everyone.
The Process
As my schedule fills up rapidly each month, it is a good idea to contact me as soon as possible to book your session. A signed contract and payment of the session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. Once payment is received and your session is on the calendar, the next step will be to meet in person for the consult.
The Consult
For your convenience, I will come to your home and we will plan out your photo session. We’ll discuss the location of your photo shoot, your style and what to wear. I can preview outfits and offer suggestions on how to coordinate clothing. A variety of specialty prints and sample albums will be shared to give you ideas on how to showcase your images. You'll also receive a welcome packet, which includes full pricing info, and other helpful information.
The Session
Leave your worries at home...it's time to focus on having fun with the most important people in your life! I want your photo session to be a time for you to forget about the to-do list, work, the beeping cell phone. Spend this time reconnecting with yourself, or your family, laughing and hugging often. Trust that I will help guide you through our photo session together and will do my best to make it a positive experience.
The Reveal
Approximately three weeks after your photo session, your photos will be ready for previewing. We will arrange for you to visit together for your photo reveal. Up to 35 images will be presented in a slideshow on screen. Prints or products you wish to purchase will be ordered during this time. Payment is due at the conclusion of the ordering process. The reveal session is an adults-only meeting and will take about an hour.
